BerettaMusic Detroit continues its tradition of uncovering and nurturing top-tier talent, following in the footsteps of artists like Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, and Luke Hess. With a string of recent successful releases, the label further cements its influence on Detroit’s iconic dance music scene by welcoming a new release from Detroit native, John “Zoetic” Briggs.
Zoetic, known for his work on Atjazz and Yoruba Records, brings his signature sound to one of Detroit’s most respected labels with the “Spirit World” EP. This sonic masterpiece effortlessly blends Techno, House, Funk, Jazz, and World music influences, offering a distinctive journey that’s both dancefloor-ready and immersive on headphones. On remix duties, BerettaMusic’s own Ryan Sadorus (one half of Airport Society) delivers a hypnotic deep house track, perfect for late-night sessions.
Written, produced and mixed by John “Zoetic” Briggs, with remix support from Ryan Sadorus, the EP was mastered at the Bear Cave in Detroit by Brian Kage, cut by Dietrich Schoenemann, and pressed at Detroit’s legendary Archer Records.
