What our staff has to say: “Every time I wear my Tangerine Dream t-shirt, men who look like that boomer wojak meme give me compliments. Perhaps, upon listening to this historic record from legendary German electronic group Tangerine Dream, you, too, may gain the necessary qualifications to wear a shirt that will get you compliments from old guys who rock chain wallets. P.S. We sell that very same shirt in-store, too . . . maybe you listen to this album, maybe you feel inclined to stop in and buy a tee, too? Think of it as a Girl Scout badge.” – Cath
ELECTRONIC MEDITATION is the first album by Tangerine Dream, and the only one to feature the line-up of Edgar Froese, Conrad Schnitzler and Klaus Schulze.
The album was recorded entirely inside an abandoned factory in Berlin in October 1969 and fuses together different styles from jazz to experimental rock. Amongst the electronics conceived by Edgar Froese himself, the group also employs more traditional instruments like guitars and organs, drum and cello.
