Wyndham Lewis’s arts movement Vorticism was baptized on 20 June 1914 in the first issue of ‘BLAST: A Review of the Great English Vortex’. ‘BLAST’ is now considered one of the 20th century’s most glowing examples of modernist expression and typography, both historically indispensable and a milestone in modern thought.
