The Nerves continue to be worshipped by new generations of rockers and music lovers worldwide. Their songs have been covered by the likes of Cat Power, Blondie, L7 and Def Leppard. The Nerves formed in 1974 and embraced the DIY approach of funding their own self-promoted tours, studio recordings and album pressings. The Nerves were comprised of Peter Case, Paul Collins and Jack Lee.
