On April 2, 1979, Japanese musicians and Fluxus practitioners Takehiosa Kosugi and Akio Suzuki recorded New Sense of Hearing at Tokyo’s Aeolian Hall. Described by Suzuki as the “culmination” of their sound, New Sense documents their experiments with instruments both traditional and avant-garde.
