The long-running project of Erik Hoffman and Jorge Martin releases its first full-length CD, reuniting with Troniks for the first time since the legendary CALIFORNIA 10LP box set. Originally slated for release in 2007 on Hoffman’s Ground Fault Recordings but shelved with the label’s hiatus, Spastic Colon has now been uncovered and unleashed, a masterpiece of uncomfortable electronics and intoxicating sound collage, disturbing hum and spurting chirps.
