gleeful san franciscans sonny and the sunsets unleash another platter of peppy beach pop tunes to score your summertime fun. following their debut disc ‘tomorrow is alright’, originally issued by soft abuse and re-released last august by fat possum, the group have whipped up a new batch of tunes under the banner ‘hit after hit’. the sunsets are an accomplished crew, featuring sub pop’s kelley stoltz, tim cohen and shayde sartin of the fresh and onlys, and tahlia harbour of citay.
