A transition to digital recording techniques, an exploration of icy bell-like timbres, a proclivity for durational compositional structures… All are a departure from Martin’s previous output. We are presented with a razor-sharp clarity on πΊπππ π πππππ‘π , ready to ‘slide’ into despair or rapture.
