Two of America’s finest harsh heads Luke Tandy (Being / Skeleton Dust) and Shane Church (Hostage Pageant / Still Image) team up to explore a slightly less abrasive, more experimental palette. Encased In Marble / Wrapped In Roots favors slow burn TEXTURE and MOOD above maximum density. This is not to say that the HN doesn’t intentionally escape the Harness chokehold from time to time because it most certainly does. Recording together since 2014 this is the sound of a very well rehearsed duo performing an album of the finest caliber.
